Ladera Golf Course is a golfing challenge on Albuquerque's growing West Side.

Ladera features include spacious greens, a broad teeing area and a large driving range tee, roomy practice putting greens, and four large lakes. Surrounding Ladera are beautiful views of the Sandia Mountains to the east and the volcanoes to the west with upscale homes along several of the fairways.

18 Hole Championship Course
The course measures 7,060 yards from the championship tees, 6,618 from the regulation tees with a Par 72, and 5,966 yards from the women's tee, which also has a Par 72.

One of the most treacherous holes on the Championship Course is #7, a 441-yard, par 4, featuring trees lining the right of the fairway and sand bunkers lining the left.

The long course is uniquely designed in natural terrain, with the longest playing yardage of any of the Albuquerque municipal courses.

The 18 Hole course was designed by Richard M. Phelps, ASGCA,, and opened in 1980.

Executive 9 Hole Course
The 9-hole "Executive" course at the Ladera Golf Course facility in Albuquerque, New Mexico features 2,053 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 31.

The course rating is 58 and it has a slope rating of 84 on grass.

The Executive Course has two par 4's, one par 5, and the rest of the holes are par 3's.

The 9-hole course has a moderate to advanced challenge level and is favored by beginners, seniors, and junior golfers.

Also designed by Richard M. Phelps, ASGCA, the Executive golf course opened in 1981.

From the Big-I, where Interstate 40 and Interstate 25 cross, go west on I-40 for 5.6 miles to the Unser Blvd exit 154. Stay right on the off ramp and go north on Unser Blvd for .6 of a mile to Ladera Dr. Turn left onto Ladera Dr and go 1.9 miles to the entrance of the Ladera Golf Course on the left
